چکیده

This article introduces a Special Issue of Anti-Trafficking Review themed ‘Traffickers’. It describes how most the knowledge about human trafficking is generated from accounts victims and people working with them, while perpetrators remains limited. further summarises articles contained in this special issue. These describe one or more aspects traffickers’ characteristics, motivations, modus operandi, relationships victims, treatment criminal justice system. Overall, issue shows that many cases, profiles are similar to those their victims. suggests measures reduce racial, ethnic other discrimination improve socioeconomic educational opportunities for all would help people’s vulnerability becoming as well perpetrators.
